The LADIR, Laboratoire de Dynamique, Interactions et Reactivité is a mixed research unit supervised by both the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris 6) and the CNRS (UMR 7075). The laboratory is located on two sites, the campus of Jussieu in Paris and the Institute of Chemical Sciences in Vitry-Thiais
(ISCSA).
The laboratory analyzes and models the atomic and molecular interactions and the chemical bonds constituent of the matter in all its states (gas, liquid or solid: fibres, films, membranes, composite materials, etc...) synthetic natural or biological, homogeneous, heterogeneous or nanophasis by using mainly optical and
(ro)-vibrationnal spectrometric techniques: Infra-red, Raman and neutron diffusions as well as the mass spectrometry.
This work has implications/applications in many various fields: atmospheric pollution and environment, chemistry of space, materials for storage and energy production (batteries, fuel cells...), corrosion, materials for aeronautics and aerospace, materials of the heritage, history of art and techniques,
drugs, biomaterials.
